Investing in yourself
Choosing to begin therapy is a personal decision.
For many people, reaching out for support is a significant first step, one that can bring up questions, uncertainty and even a little hesitation. Before committing to sessions, I offer a free 20-minute introductory conversation. The relationship between us is an important part of therapy, and finding someone you feel comfortable with matters. Our work together will be guided by curiosity, compassion and honesty, creating a space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
Therapy is a space where you can pause, reflect and explore what is happening in your life with someone who is there to listen without judgement.
Counselling sessions
Sessions are £50 and last approximately 50 minutes, and take place online, allowing you to access support wherever you are.
We can meet weekly, fortnightly or at a frequency that feels appropriate for your circumstances and what you would like to explore.
What happens when we begin?
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet, talk about what has brought you to therapy and explore what you would like from our work together.
You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet.
Sometimes people arrive knowing exactly what they want to explore.
Sometimes they simply know:
“Something doesn’t feel right, and I want to understand why.”
Both are completely valid places to begin.
Is online counselling right for me?
Online counselling offers flexibility and accessibility, particularly for people who are living abroad, travelling, working remotely or balancing busy lives.
Many people find that having therapy from a familiar and private space helps them feel comfortable opening up and reflecting honestly.
Reduced-fee spaces
I believe therapy should be accessible wherever possible.
I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spaces depending on availability and individual circumstances.
If finances are a concern, please feel welcome to ask.
If you are unsure whether I am the right person to support you, you are welcome to get in touch and ask any questions before deciding.
Taking the first step does not mean you have to have all the answers.
It simply means you are open to exploring what comes next.
